Hello, I am the Oral Health Improvement Manager for North Northamptonshire.
I support the delivery of the Let’s Brush programme in this area.
Let’s Brush supports targeted early years settings with daily toothbrushing on site, which is an evidence based oral health intervention with lots of benefits:
* Improved brushing technique
* More compliance when cleaning teeth at home
* An additional brushing to the two times at home
* Reinforcement of the habit
* It’s a fun shared activity that the children love doing!
Full training and equipment is provided to invited settings, as well as ongoing support.
General oral health training is also available to health professionals working with children.
Our training:
* Is free of charge
* Can be adapted to suit recipients and setting
* Includes the fundamentals of good oral health; oral care, diet and dental visits
* Counts towards Continuous Professional Development
